I am based in the south of Finland. Shooting in Helsinki, Porvoo, Turkku and Tampere.
Shooting people
Mostly, i mean i do shoot pets , babies and performing artists as well.
Not just stills
More than shooting, i do photo editing, video shooting and editing.
On the other side
I often find myself in front of the camera and will do my best to make the shooting pleasant.

Originally coming from a performing background (still being one), as a dancer, physical performer and circus artist. I have kept this strong interest in my photography. Shooting concerts, festivals, performances and various events.
The world is our playground
I am mostly shooting people and trying to give you what you want. Be it a simple studio session, for basic portrait, a graduation, a major event such as pregnancy, I will always suggest some fun time before the end of the session and you might get great pictures you didn’t even know you wanted. I like some silliness (I am a clown from time to time) but getting the important or requested shots is the priority but nothing will be forced.
Sexual orientations
I have been working for Helsinki pride and Turku pride for several years. For 7years, I was part of TanssiARTesaani, the dance company that focused on sexual minorities and immigrants in Finland.
Cultural diversity
I am myself an immigrant. I have been shooting for the Refugee film festival, Faces festival for almost a decade. For 3 years I was a dancer and actor (and photographer) for “Afrobeat from the heart” a musical about Fela kuti. Many of my collaborations are with musicians of African and south american origine. and i recently started a project with the Finnish-African society .ry
Respect and consent
I have worked with Tantra, I have been a dancer and circus artist using partnering techniques. I am a regular contact improvisation participant. I will make sure that the shooting is respectful and that there will not be unwanted touching or flirting. If for any reason you are uncomfortable with me for a shooting that may be intimate and involve partial or full nudity, I am happy to recommend a photographer of different gender with whom you may be more comfortable.

Starting in 2008, with the now defunct Faces festival, I got to work with the same organisation and people over time. I have shot film festivals: Love and anarchy, Doc point, Refugee film festival. Music festival : Afrojazz club, faces festival More recently i worked with Natural high healing festival, neo hippy, conscious festival. It will come as a complete surprise to anyone that I am a big nerd and I am so happy to be part of the Ropecon.
Performance is still a big part of my life, and I have been shooting live performances and promo material for circus, dance and theatre. The most regulars being Circus Helsinki and TanssiARTesaani. Individual artists are repeating collaborations time after time. The two most frequent inspiring collaborations being Laura Faarinen and Nora Mutanen, with whom we have created some of the most beautiful images. Another frequent collaboration is with Maku-Dakar, painter and percussionist and Anna Mur, both now collaborating on the Lightclothing project as the creators of the art used in the projections.
I am also looking for new collaborations. I mostly do paid work (rent and food, you know) but i also like to hear about people’s projects and if they speak to me, tickle my creativity or my values, i am willing to reduce my fees, just to be part of a project. and most of my personal artistic projects are without payment for the models and actors, so it is only fair that I sometimes contribute to others’ projects. Hell!, you might have ended up on this page after I pitched you an idea in the street.
